A statement from our Founder

In June 2020 my world changed forever. It took the horrific death of a man in America for this to happen. The death of George Floyd opened the worlds eyes to something that had been a part of my everyday life for as long as I remember, all of a sudden, the topics that people used to want to avoid are at the forefront of everyone’s minds. I started having conversations with others that up until this moment only really existed in my head- and people were actually listening. Experiences were being shared, difficult conversations were happening, realisation that change needs to come was taking place up and down the country and across the world. Racism stopped being lonely as the people in my life started to truly see it for what it is. I started to realise one thing; the professional world seemed to be catching up much more slowly, the conversations people were having tended to happen at home, but rarely at work or in education. If they did happen it was more tentative, more unsure, and much less impactful. It was almost as if everyone knew what needed to be done but not how to do it. Thus, was born the idea for PEACE, to make the anti-racism journey practical in the real-life world of work and education. Diversity, Equality and Inclusion in the work place is my passion, my goal is to share that passion with as many people as possible.
